Our network monitoring feature had a massive upgrade

Constellix Sonar engineers have just released a massive upgrade to prepare the monitoring portion of the suite for the official launch.

The Constellix traffic management suite recently entered its final beta stage, which will focus on upgrading the suite for scalability and optimal global performance. This week, the Constellix development team announced the release of a major backend deployment that will update Sonar monitoring services for production.

“In order to ensure the best performance for all of our clients, we had to scale up our backend infrastructure. The platform will now be enterprise capable and optimized for our entire client base,” says President of Constellix Steven Job.

Last week marked the final leg of Constellix’s race to a production-ready platform, and opened up the suite to the general public. Previously, Constellix was only available for DNS Made Easy users.

“We are very excited to offer production-ready services to our thousands of beta testers and new users,” says Job.

Constellix currently monitors over 20 million checks per day, ranging from Real-User Monitoring checks to simple HTTP checks on the Sonar Lite monitoring app. While the suite is still in beta, all Constellix Sonar and DNS services will be available for free. Job encourages clients to take advantage of this promotional period and test out all the features the suite has to offer. The final stage of beta also marks the beginning of the migration period for beta users to transfer their accounts over to the production-ready version of the suite. Instructions for how to migrate accounts can be found here. The Constellix engineering team will also be hosting a series of free Onboarding Webinars for both Constellix DNS and Sonar services. Senior Systems Engineers Evan Daniels will be hosting both webinars, which will be open to user suggestions for topics of discussion. “We want to make the onboarding process as easy as possible, and aid clients in learning how to take full advantage of all the services in the platform,” says Daniels.
